Our role at IT Group Functions (IT GF) is to address the information and technology needs of the Corporate Center the GBS Service Lines and CSI to make them successful in their digital transformations. Job Purpose
The Program Manager – People Identity and Access Management (PIAM) is accountable for the strategic direction, operational delivery, and continuous improvement of the PIAM IT solution across DHL Group. The role translates group-wide IT and HR objectives into effective identity and access management rules and solutions, ensuring compliance, security, and operational efficiency at global scale.
Your tasks as Program Manager - PIAM
- Define and execute the global PIAM strategy aligned with DHL Group business objectives, IT security standards, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee the rollout and adoption of identity management solutions across all divisions, covering 650k+ human and 150k+ non-human identities
- Oversee rollout and adoption of access management solutions for applications within the scope of the Internal Control System for IT
- Coordinate rollout and adoption of access management solutions for additional applications nominated by divisions
- Monitor, optimize, and continuously improve PIAM processes, leveraging automation and best practices
- Manage and develop the strategic partnership with the main IT supplier, SailPoint
- Conduct regular business performance review meetings with SailPoint and DHL IT Services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with divisional HR, IT, and business stakeholders
- Deliver weekly status reports to the Group CISO and CIO Group Functions
- Provide regular progress and performance updates to IT and HR Boards
- Enable divisions through onboarding support, training, and change management activities
- Ensure IT service delivery audit readiness and proactively manage access-related risks
- Identify, propose, and drive adoption of new technologies, features, and enhancements within the PIAM landscape
- Lead the PIAM program team, including direct and matrixed resources across IT, HR, and divisional functions, and coordinate external partners and rollout coordinators
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology or a related field
- More than 10 years of professional experience in IT, preferably with strong exposure to Identity and Access Management
- Proven experience in program management within complex, global environments
- Strong knowledge of IT service delivery, IT security, compliance, and audit requirements
- Experience working with IAM platforms (preferably SailPoint) and managing strategic vendors
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including senior leadership reporting
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making and process optimization
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and multicultural teams and drive change at scale
