We are looking for a motivated Intern (m/f/d) for our Global Marketing and Communications Department at the Global Head Office DHL Freight in Bonn. This is a part-time internship (20 hours/week) for 12 months. The ideal starting date is 1st May 2026.

Our Global Marketing & Communications team helps shape how DHL Freight shows up to the world – from building our brand to keeping our people informed and inspired. We work with teams across Europe, create content, support campaigns, and bring our stories to life. As part of the team, you’ll get hands on experience in real projects and learn how communications on experience in real projects and learn how communications work in a truly international environment.

In this role you will focus on the following topics:

• Content & Digital Communication
  • Create and publish content for internal and external channels (SmartConnect, newsletters, social media).
  • Support external communications projects by gathering updates and stories from teams.
  • Contribute to global marketing initiatives, including campaign ideation and content planning.
  • Design, update, and maintain intranet and digital platform content.
  • Draft copy, create visuals, and prepare presentation materials for Sales.
• Project & Event Support
  • Collaborate with our marketing and communications community across Europe.
  • Support global events such as town halls, leadership updates, filming sessions, and other internal/external events.
  • Assist in developing sales and marketing materials.
• Research & Organization:
  • Research trends, story ideas, and best‑practice examples.
  • Edit and quality‑check content to ensure clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.

Our perfect match:

• You are a student of Communications, Marketing, Media, Business, Journalism, Digital Media or a related field.
• You work confidently in English and German and enjoy crafting clear, engaging messages.
• You are familiar with PowerPoint and Word; experience with digital tools or content platforms is a plus.
