We are looking for a Manager ESG Accounting, Reporting & Controlling based in Bonn, Germany. Please note that is a Fixed Term role for a duration of two years.

The purpose of the role is to provide controlling and reporting support for the growing and emerging ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) reporting area. The role requires a high level of data numeracy and the ability to generate useful and meaningful reports that support ESG decision making at a Global Level.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

• Preparing presentations and reports (TM1 / BI dashboards) and summarizing detailed analyses in a clear & concise management message.
• Provide support in terms of setting up internal controls to ensure data quality, as well as supporting the development internal control description and documentation.
• Support with ongoing updates to EU taxonomy, ESRS, as well as support with ESG audits managed by external partners.
• Continuously review ESG criteria for BCA processes and provide feedback to respective owners.

Do you have what it takes?

• 8+ years of Finance or ESG related experience (with Degree or 5-8 years work experience) with ideally experience in some area of ESG.
• Knowledge of the reporting systems of DPDHL will be under consideration, but it is not mandatory requirement.
• Ability to work under time pressure, short deadlines, high quality standards and various tasks at the same time.
• Good financial acumen and very strong analytical skills.
• Knowledgeable about data analytics and data visualization (deep Excel knowledge is a must, BI preferred).
• PC-Skills: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office; Advanced Expert in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
• Language: English proficiency required. German not mandatory, but advantageous.
