Join the DHL Freight Global team as a BI Developer (m/f/d) at our Head Office in Bonn .

In this role you will play a key part in shaping the evolution of our Business Intelligence and Analytics landscape, spanning both established Oracle-based solutions and our future cloud platform. You will act as a technical anchor during our transformation to Snowflake and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), ensuring continuity, quality, and innovation across both worlds.

Your key tasks

• Design and own end‑to‑end BI architectures across on‑prem and cloud.

• Lead analytics migration from Oracle to Snowflake and OAC.

• Build and optimize scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.

• Deliver standardized reports, dashboards, and KPIs.

• Own BI platforms end‑to‑end, ensuring performance and stability.

• Provide technical consulting and enable analytics initiatives across DHL Freight.

Our Perfect Match:

• You have 5 years of development experience in Business Intelligence, with a focus on ETL/ELT, Database, and SQL.

• Ideally, you have 2 years of experience or hands-on exposure to Snowflake as a cloud data platform, including ELT concepts, data modeling, and SQL-based transformations.

• Experience with analytics tools preferably Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or Power BI and familiarity with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) and the motivation to transition to cloud-based analytics.

• You have solid conceptual knowledge and practical experience in Business Intelligence and Relational Database Systems.

• Understanding of modern cloud analytics architectures, including scalability, performance optimization, and cost-aware design.

• You can leverage your practical IT background to bring innovative solutions to the table.

This position is based in Bonn, and will require you to be on site 1-2 times a week.
