Platform Lead SAP S/4HANA (f/m/x) in the SHAPE+ Team

You will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving DHL's global SAP S/4HANA Finance platform as part of one of the largest Finance transformation programs in the industry. We are looking for a highly experienced SAP Finance professional who combines deep functional expertise with hands-on SAP S/4HANA implementation experience gained across multiple large-scale transformation programs.

The ideal candidate is an SAP Finance leader with a proven track record of designing and deploying global SAP templates, driving process harmonization, and delivering business value through complex ERP transformations across multiple geographies and business units.

Key responsibilities

• Solution Governance : Own, govern and evolve the global SAP S/4HANA Finance Template, driving standardization across divisions and countries while accommodating local legal requirements where necessary.
• Finance Process Leadership : Act as a trusted advisor to Finance, IT, and project stakeholders on SAP Finance processes and transformation opportunities, showcasing deep expertise across FI-GL, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Tax and e-Invoicing Compliance topics
• Transformation Delivery : Lead and support all phases of SAP Finance transformation programs including fit-to-standard workshops, global template design, solution architecture, configuration, integration, testing, cutover and hypercare. Drive key design decisions and provide hands-on SAP expertise throughout the project lifecycle
• Continuous Innovation : Champion improvements in your area by investigating and identifying opportunities to increase standardization, operational efficiency and automation, while balancing business value delivery
• Leadership Mindset : Foster a collaborative, performance culture by demonstrating strong analytical and conceptual skills, resilience and an outcome-oriented approach. Experience leading global system integrators and implementation partners, ensuring solution quality, governance and adherence to template standards
• Note that knowledge of SAP Public Cloud, SAP BTP and CAS services, SAP integration technologies and emerging SAP Business AI capabilities is an advantage

Who are we looking for?

• 10+ years of SAP Finance consulting and transformation experience, with superior English skills (German a plus)
• Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance is a must, with strong understanding of end-to-end Finance processes and their integration with procurement, sales, logistics, treasury, tax and master data domains
• Proven experience across multiple SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, including template design and global rollouts and multi-country deployments in complex multinational environments.
• Exposure to SAP Central Finance, Advanced Financial Closing, Banking solutions, Treasury integration and global e-Invoicing mandates and compliance frameworks is highly desirable
• Ability to act as advisor to senior Finance and IT stakeholders, balancing global standardization objectives with local business and statutory requirements.
