Business Development Professional - Machinery & Automation (all genders)

Niederdollendorf | Full time Your positionIn this role, you will support the growth and development of our Machinery & Automation business across Europe. You will develop customer-specific technology solutions and support projects from initial customer discussions through commissioning and after-sales support. With a primary focus on Germany, France and the Benelux region, you will work closely with Sales, Technical Marketing, the Machinery departments and external partners to deliver practical, customer-focused solutions in machinery, automation and robotics. Combining hands-on expertise with the confidence to lead technical customer discussions, you will develop practical solutions and take ownership of implementation details to ensure high-quality outcomes for our customers. In this role, you’ll travel within Europe up to 50% of your working time. Your tasksSupporting the development and growth of the Machinery & Automation business by identifying and advancing customer and market opportunities in close collaboration with local Sales teams across Europe.Acting as the technical interface between customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring close cross-functional collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.Actively engaging in technical customer discussions, proposals, fact-findings, and contract finalization bringing in practical technical expertise. Coordinating and supporting machinery and automation projects from order intake through installation, commissioning, handover, and after-sales support to ensure high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction.Your profileApprenticeship or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation, or a related field. Alternatively, a technical vocational qualification with relevant specialization and experience.Experience in industrial technology, machinery, automation, technical sales, or project management; motivated recent graduates are also encouraged to apply Hands-on, structured and solution-oriented mindset Willingness to work closely with customers on site and travel regularly within the assigned region Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions and multiple stakeholdersLanguages: English – fluent, German – fluentNice to have: French language skills are considered a strong asset, but candidates without are equally encouraged to applyOur offerWe offer a competitive salary package that reflects your qualifications and experience and aligns with current market values.
