As the Global Business Process Owner - Manhattan Active WMS , you will play a pivotal role in leading the global rollout of DHL’s cloud-based warehouse management platform and guiding the transition from legacy systems to a standardized, future-ready operating model.

In this role, you will lead operational excellence, process harmonization, and continuous improvement across regions, ensuring consistent and scalable warehouse solutions that support DHL’s strategic ambitions and customer commitments. Working at the intersection of Operations, IT, and customer stakeholders, you will define best practices, safeguard solution integrity, drive effective change management, and enable business value through innovative digital solutions.

Your key responsibilities include :

System Implementation & Transition

• Lead and support the global implementation of Manhattan Active WMS, ensuring alignment with standardized business processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate requirements, test system configurations, and support user training.
• Ensure minimal disruption to existing operations during implementation and transition phases.

Migration Support

• Provide hands-on support during WMS migrations, including system upgrades and supplier transitions, to ensure business continuity.
• Monitor migration progress, resolve operational issues, and coordinate with stakeholders to manage risks and minimize downtime.

Process Improvement & Optimization

• Evaluate and enhance warehouse and system-related processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and service quality.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and operational best practices.
• Drive change through Requests for Enhancements (RFEs), manage solution design alignment, and oversee testing and deployment of changes.

Digitalization & Automation

• Identify opportunities for digital transformation in warehousing and system-related operations.
• Support the implementation of automation tools and digital workflows to reduce manual effort and improve process reliability.

Change Management

• Lead change management activities related to the introduction of Manhattan Active WMS and process changes.
• Develop and execute change management plans to ensure successful adoption by end users and stakeholders.
• Support communication, training, and stakeholder engagement efforts to build readiness and minimize resistance to change.

Governance & Documentation

• Maintain and update global process documentation, configuration templates (e.g., CCQ), and training materials.
• Initiate and manage Change Requests (CRs), ensuring compliance with governance processes and stakeholder alignment.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

• Act as the key liaison between global and regional teams, including operations, IT, and customer stakeholders.
• Ensure clear communication, alignment on solution design, and consistent execution of the Manhattan Active WMS strategy.

Operational Excellence & Standardization

• Champion global process standardization across regions in line with DHL SCS and customer requirements.
• Ensure adherence to operational KPIs and service levels during and after system transitions.

What are we looking for from you?

• 5+ years of experience in operations, project management, business process ownership, or a similar role within a global organization.
• Strong understanding of supply chain and warehousing operations, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Proven experience in operational warehouse and transport management environments.
• In-depth knowledge of SCS processes and systems, including SeLECT Sterling, WMOS 2017, CPPS, and Manhattan Active WMS.
• Demonstrated expertise in leading or supporting complex transformation and system implementation projects.
• Experience in solution design, process optimization, and driving operational excellence across diverse business environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Operations, IT, and customer-facing teams.
• Excellent project management capabilities, including planning, coordination, risk management, and change execution.
• Willingness to travel internationally for on-site visits to support key business initiatives and implementations.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
• Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English
