Senior Expert Sustainable Transport & Energy Solutions (m/f/x)

Your responsibilities

• Drive strategic initiatives focused on decarbonization, electrification, energy management, and sustainable fuels.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships to support sustainable growth opportunities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, market trends, and regulatory developments relevant to the logistics and energy sectors.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on topics related to energy management, electrification, and low-carbon technologies.
• Support the implementation of group-wide energy management and sustainable fuel initiatives.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders and represent DHL Group in selected industry initiatives (related to sustainability, energy, and alternative fuels).

Your profile

• University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field.
• Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally in business development, sustainability, commercial functions, or a related environment.
• Strong knowledge of innovative technologies, alternative energy solutions, and related infrastructure.
• Good understanding of procurement-related processes, regulatory frameworks, and sustainability or energy-related topics.
• Proven project management expertise and the ability to manage complex initiatives across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex topics in a clear and compelling way.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, and experience preparing management-level presentations and decision documents.
• Very good English skills. German language skills or the willingness to develop them are desirable.
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 25%).
