We are currently hiring a Global Master Data Expert (f/m/d) , who is responsible within the central function for ensuring efficient and effective master data processes. As part of the Master Data Project & Processes team, you will define and document global standards, configure and automate manual processes, coordinate global requests, and implement processes to be used throughout the Freight organization.

In this role, you will:

• Design, document and continuously improve global master data processes, including governance, quality control, and country compliance
• Drive the automation of manual master data processes and introduce standardized templates and tools, especially including the development and maintenance of workflow automations (e.g., Power Automate, SharePoint solutions)
• Support international rollout projects onboarding countries to standardized MD solutions incl. e.g. conducting as-is process assessments, defining to-be processes, and adapting templates and automation logic for local requirements
• Maintain and enhance fully outsourced master data processes
• Provide functional support for master data tools and processes
• Act as a point of contact for country master data teams, supporting ad‑hoc questions and ensuring operational continuity

Our perfect match:

• You have a degree in an analytical discipline and preferable first experience with master data management
• You possess strong process design, documentation and data modelling skills
• You have practical experience with automation tools, especially Power Automate and Sharepoint
• You have experience working in projects and global rollout environments
• You have strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Teams - ideally also experience with SQL, Python and VBA
• You have project management experience and are familiar with continuous improvement approaches e.g. lean, six sigma etc.
• You can navigate complexity, work independently, and collaborate with many stakeholders across countries
• You bring a structured, reliable and detail-oriented working style, and the confidence to challenge the status quo and drive improvements
