Our client is an international, mid-sized company whose home products combine playful design with everyday practicality and win over retailers across Europe. To further grow its business in France and the Benelux, our client is looking for a:

Key Account Manager France & Benelux - Non-Food Consumer Goods - 100% Remote (m/f/d), Germany (Saarland / Rhineland-Palatinate / Cologne area)

What we count on you for: your responsibilities

• You drive and expand the brand business in France and the Benelux, across brick-and-mortar retail (grocery, mass market, discounters, toy and specialist retail, DIY) and online.
• You consolidate the existing promotional business with major French retail chains and turn it into repeat orders and permanent listings.
• You actively win new key accounts (approx. 60% new business, 40% account management).
• You build the right assortment for each retailer, prepare calculations and offers, and negotiate prices and contracts.
• You monitor the market and competition and identify new business opportunities.
• You visit customers and trade fairs in France and the Benelux.
• You work closely with Customer Support, Marketing and Supply Chain across several European sites. A customer support team handles order processing, EDI and price maintenance, so you can focus fully on sales.

How you strengthen the team: your profile

• Your experience: Ideally 3 to 5 years of B2B sales experience selling branded consumer goods to retail, including negotiation experience. Experience with toys or non-food household products is a plus.
• Your market knowledge: You know how French retail works (buying centres, promotional business, key players) and navigate it with confidence. Contacts in French or Benelux retail are an advantage.
• Your languages: You are fully at ease in French, including in negotiations, pricing discussions and contracts, which are conducted entirely in French. Native level is not required, but confident and precise written and spoken French is. Good English (company language and Benelux market) and German for internal communication round off your profile.
• Your IT skills: You are confident with Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.
• Your way of working: You are highly motivated, bring drive and a desire to shape things, solve problems independently and contribute new ideas. Your practical experience counts for more than formal qualifications.
• Your location: You live in Germany, ideally in Saarland, Rhineland-Palatinate or the southern part of North Rhine-Westphalia, with easy access to France and the Benelux.
• Your mobility: You enjoy being on the road: on average up to two days a week with customers in France and the Benelux, plus internal meetings at the European sites about once a quarter.
