Our department delivers build (projects) and run (support) services for the DHL eCommerce domains of Customer, Commercials, Finance & HR. With this position, we're strengthening the Intersection coordination between implementation teams in IT Services and our Business Partner IT teams. We are looking for an experienced project director, who interacts with a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.

As the Project Director you will oversee the overall IT Application & Platform roadmap, from definition to delivery. You will work closely with other different stakeholders (Product Owners, Development teams and architects) to make sure best practices are applied to ensure high standards in all areas. You possess great planning and presentation skills. You will shape the direction of functional and non-functional requirements to their fruition. As part of your role, you will provide leadership and mentoring to the rest of the team.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Experience in Enterprise Architecture and patterns.
• Resource planning, assignment and employee development.
• Ability to guide architecture, design, development and operation discussions and decisions.
• Extensive experience in HR, Commercials and Finance technologies (e.g. SAP, Salesforce)
• Familiarity with budgeting, global collaboration models, and risk management.
• Focus areas with foundational DHL Business knowledge:
  - Process Design and Workflow Management
  - Frontend/UX engineering
  - Infrastructure, rollout planning and steering
  - Testing and documentation best practices
