Project Manager -Energy Infrastructure (LNG Focus)

In 2023, we became the lead consultant and On-Site Operations Manager for Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH (DET)—Germany’s state-owned terminal operator, created to respond to the national energy supply challenges triggered by the Ukraine crisis.

Tasks

• Lead the end-to-end management of energy infrastructure projects, from feasibility to commissioning and operations.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, finance, permitting and operations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, contractors and authorities.
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and risk management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with international safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, client presentations, and strategic planning.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project managers and technical staff.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project management within the energy sector, preferably LNG or gas infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing international, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, and technical standards in energy infrastructure.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English and German. Other languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
