Role Overview

We are seeking an Interim Financial Controller for a 3‑month mission (March to June) to temporarily replace our current Controller.
Your role will ensure continuity in financial operations, accounting oversight, monthly closings, and reporting for BuyIn’s legal entities.

Your responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Ensure the accurate production of accounts for 3 legal entities (Germany, Canada, Belgium).

• Monitor and support the Purchase‑to‑Pay process across entities.

• Coordinate with internal teams, international accounting providers, and shareholder representatives.

Monthly & Annual Closing (IFRS)

• Lead monthly and annual closing processes: P&L, balance sheet, analytical reviews.

• Perform account reviews and validate deliverables from accounting subcontractors (including shared service centers at Deutsche Telekom & Orange).

• Liaise with internal and external auditors.

Consolidation & Reporting

• Coordinate preparation of consolidated accounts for BuyIn Group (4 legal entities).

• Produce monthly financial reporting for the VP Finance/CFO, management team, boards, and employee representatives.

• Identify financial risks and propose corrective actions.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Support

• Support the annual budgeting process and forecasting cycles.

• Provide financial analysis and ad‑hoc reports for management decisions.

• Assist operational teams with spending commitments by ensuring proper application of internal financial processes.

Process Improvement & Digitalization

• Contribute to the digitalization and improvement of internal reporting tools and processes.

Your profile

Education & Experience

• Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

• At least 10 years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, or audit.

• Experience in an international environment is a strong asset.

Technical Skills

• Proven experience in accounting, account review, and auditing.

• Solid knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting, budgeting, and cost center management.

• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is a plus.

Languages

• Fluent English required.

• French or German is a strong advantage.
