This company is seeking a Backend Architect to help design and enhance a large-scale, OpenStack-based public cloud platform. This hands-on architecture role involves developing innovative platform and SaaS features while working within a lean, agile team supporting enterprise customers across Europe.

Responsibilities:
- Improving platform architecture with security at the core
- Designing and developing new platform and SaaS features
- Acting as a trusted technical advisor on OpenStack-based public cloud technology
- Staying hands-on at the console to back up architectural decisions
- Automating consistently using modern automation frameworks
- Working within a close-knit, collaborative team of specialists
Skills/Must Have:
- 5-7 years' professional IT experience with a focus on modern cloud technologies
- Strong knowledge of software, cloud and container architectures
- Experience in infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible)
- In-depth knowledge of Linux, system tools and network services
- Kubernetes, Docker and container experience
- Strong customer orientation and presentation/mentoring skills
- Fluent English (German, Spanish, Hungarian, Slovak or Romanian a bonus)
- OpenStack and open-source programming experience highly desirable
Salary:
- €60,000 - €75,000
