Role Overview

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing project packages within a large-scale IT program environment focused on digital collaboration and communication solutions. The role ensures structured delivery, governance compliance, and alignment with project objectives across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination, planning, and execution of defined project packages within a complex IT program
• Maintain and manage project structures using tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, and Jira
• Perform project controlling with respect to timelines, milestones, requirements, deliverables, and budget
• Identify and manage dependencies, risks, changes, and configurations throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct stakeholder management and resolve conflicts of interests and objectives
• Support governance activities including reporting, communication, and participation in steering committees
• Perform administrative project management tasks such as meeting coordination, documentation, onboarding/offboarding, and quality assurance
• Prepare templates, guidelines, and structured documentation for project execution
• Support subproject and overall project leadership with additional tasks and special topics

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Technology, or a comparable field
  or equivalent professional experience in IT environments
• At least 5 years of professional experience in project management within medium-sized and complex IT projects
• Strong experience in structured project governance, controlling, and reporting

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools:
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• MS Project
• Jira
• SharePoint
• Experience with project documentation, reporting, and project controlling processes

Language Requirements

• German language proficiency at C1 level (CEFR)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Soft Skills

• Ability to coordinate tasks and track progress effectively
