We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical IT Consultant to join our GenAI Products & Services team within DHL IT Services. This role focuses on designing, developing, and operationalizing enterprise-grade AI solutions, with a strong emphasis on Generative AI, AI Agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI workflows, Agentic RAG architectures, multimodal LLMs, speech models, and voice-enabled AI experiences. The ideal candidate combines a strong IT consulting mindset with hands-on programming and engineering expertise. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, architects, developers, DevOps teams, security experts, and external partners to identify opportunities, design AI-driven solutions, and move proof-of-concept initiatives into scalable production services.

Top requirements for this role

• Strong hands-on experience with voice technologies, especially Speech-to-Text (STT), Text-to-Speech (TTS), speech models, speech recognition, voice interaction design, and voice-enabled AI assistants.
• Experience designing and integrating multimodal LLM solutions that combine text, voice, documents, images, and enterprise data into user-facing AI applications.
• Practical experience building enterprise RAG and Agentic RAG solutions, including retrieval pipelines, embeddings, vector search, reranking, prompt orchestration, and answer grounding.
• Experience designing AI Agents, autonomous workflows, tool usage, multi-agent orchestration, agent memory patterns, and enterprise integration patterns
• Strong practical experience with Google Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (GEAP) for enterprise-scale Agentic AI solutions, agent orchestration, governance, and secure integrations.
• Strong hands-on programming experience in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript for building AI Agents, RAG pipelines, APIs, backend services, and AI-enabled user interfaces.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

AI Consulting & Solution Design

• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and translate requirements into scalable, secure AI solutions.
• Lead workshops, assessments, architecture reviews, and proof-of-concepts.
• Advise on AI strategy, governance, adoption, and business value realization.

GenAI, AI Agents & Voice AI

• Design and implement enterprise GenAI, Agentic AI, RAG, and multimodal AI solutions.
• Develop AI agents and integrate them with enterprise systems, data sources, and business applications.
• Build voice-enabled and multimodal experiences leveraging speech, text, documents, and images. • Drive solutions based on Google Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (GEAP) or Microsoft Azure and emerging AI standards.

Engineering & Delivery

• Design production-grade AI applications, APIs, and integrations using Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Apply modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, cloud-native architectures, and observability.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and enterprise-ready.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with international cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Support architecture decisions, project delivery, technical leadership, and knowledge sharing across the organization.

Experience

• Senior-level experience in IT consulting, software engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise IT delivery.
• Proven track record delivering complex AI, digital transformation, or enterprise technology initiatives.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Technical Expertise

• Hands-on experience with RAG, AI Agents, Agentic RAG, LLM-based applications, and multimodal AI solutions.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with voice technologies (Speech-to-Text, Text-to-Speech) and conversational AI solutions.
• Knowledge of modern integration patterns, APIs, microservices, CI/CD, Docker, and cloud-native development.

AI Platforms & Technologies

• Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Google ADK, Semantic Kernel or similar.
• Strong experience with Google Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (GEAP) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure), vector databases, and enterprise integrations

Governance & Professional Skills

• Understanding of AI governance, security, compliance, identity management, and responsible AI practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
